Hardware Development Engineer

Tasks

  • Participation in the electronic development of inductive object detection sensors used in industrial automation, covering the full product development lifecycle from concept to series production
  • Interpretation of specifications and development of technical solutions
  • Design, dimensioning, and simulation of analog and digital circuits
  • Consideration of manufacturability and testability aspects during the design process (DFM/DFT)
  • Performing and documenting development measurements
  • Supporting the PCB design process (layout review)
  • Collaboration as a member of an international development team with experts in firmware development, mechanical design, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering

Required qualifications

B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field

Advantages

Requirements for the candidate

  • B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
  • 3–5 years of experience in electronic development
  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, including oscillator design
  • Understanding of sensor technologies
  • Measurement engineering knowledge, especially in the use of impedance analyzers
  • Experience with LTspice or PSpice
  • Experience in EMC-compliant circuit design and EMC testing procedures
  • Basic knowledge of embedded systems
  • At least intermediate level of English
  • Strong problem-solving skills and system-level thinking
  • Independent and proactive way of working
