Operational purchaser (EMEA REGION)

Tasks

  • Ensuring adequate stock levels of finished products, raw materilals and packaging in the region
  • Order management: PO creation, order confirmation, tracebility, price/quantity/invoice deviations
  • Daily tracking of exception messages(pull in, push out , backorder), and in case of need start actions
  • Maintaining supplier relationships
  • Support sales communication regarding to product availability
  • Cooperation with Strategic, Tactical Purchasers and Critical Parts Managers
  • Daily contact with internal and external partners: External suppliers, other regional distribution centers, Logistics, Finance, Quality, NPI, Sales
  • Support of reaching KPI targets: Inventory, Backorder, PAIF

Required qualifications

University degree in logistics, engineering, or economics

Requirements for the candidate

  • University degree in logistics, engineering, or economics
  • At least 2 years of experience in an operational purchasing role (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
  • Conversational level of English
  • Confident computer skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
  • High level of accuracy and strong concentration skills
  • Proactive mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and think in systems
