• Evaluate the product portfolio for compliance with approval-related guidelines and standards, including researching CE (Machinery Directive) and functional safety approval requirements
• Carrying out national and international product approvals (focus on CE and functional safety)
• Ideally, you are familiar with the requirements for organizing functional safety and can support the documentation of this process
• Acting as a contact person for the development departments with regard to approval requirements
• Coordinate the approval projects and collaborating in the product development process
• Responsible for type and unit testing in close cooperation with internal interfaces and approval bodies, as well as responding to customer inquiries regarding product approvals
• Create and maintain a requirements matrix summarizing all product approval requirements relevant to the scope of application
• Informing and training internal departments such as purchasing, development, product management, and sales

• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
• You have extensive professional experience in implementing relevant approvals, regulations, and standards (e.g., CE, safety) and are very proficient in MS Office
• Knowledge of industrial automation products and applications, as well as qualification/certification as a “Product Compliance Officer” or “Functional Safety Manager” is desirable
• Very good project management skills, very good English skills, and good SAP knowledge
