Indirect commodity manager

Feladatkör

  • Driving local indirect purchasing and understanding indirect material spends across the business, analyzing category markets and translating into actionable strategies
  • Collaborate with all required disciplines (product management, engineering, operations, supply chain, technology and finance) to provide the most favorable pricing, quality, delivery, and relationship management (vendor) to meet company goals and objectives
  • Develop and Implement standard tendering documentation including compliancy and evaluation templates
  • Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history
  • Assist in the identification of new suppliers and ensure due diligence is carried out for all new sources of supply
  • Benchmarking (tracking of market trends & changes, issue and evaluation of RFQs, decision preparation, etc.)
  • Managing tendering and contracting processes
  • Negotiating long-term, strategic agreements, maximizing the supplier added value
  • Maintaining the relationship with suppliers and regularly evaluate their performance
  • Executing strong contract management, making sure suppliers fulfil their commercial and contractual commitments
  • Initiation and implementation of cost saving activities with applying purchasing methods, tactics and tools

Szükséges képzettség

Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Business administration field

Elvárások a jelölttel szemben

  • 3-5 years of experience with Indirect Categories (MRO, Facilities, Building, HR& EHS Services, etc)
  • Good knowledge of common MS Office applications as well as experience with SAP
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Good awareness of Procurement best practice procedures
  • Exceptional negotiating skills, along with a strong presence and ability to influence others, including senior leadership
  • Strong communication and project management to demonstrate project status, key actions, risks and opportunities
